What I Learned in English 9/10 Second Quarter.!

This semester, in Ms. Priester’s class I have learned several new things. One of the things that I learned that I was not expected to learn in English class is a lot more about technology. I learned how to do more interesting things with education on the computer and also was able to learn and make myself a blogger. I learned how to make an graphic organizer and I also learned the important steps in how to write an essay. Another thing I learned is how to make a summary on a story and how to take important notes on them. I have learned how to pronounce the vocabulary and what they mean. This semester at San Pasqual Academy in Ms. Priester’s class I have learned a certain amount of new things that can and will help me in life.

“Cranes” Songsam’s Defense Speech.

At the time, we were walking towards the police department. He was all tied up and ready for hostage.I defend my decision, because we were walking and talking about the past memories and I felt wrong to complete my task. We then past by and saw the cranes and remembered what the whole situation was about. I then realized that we had a lot of memories in the past with each other and did not want to take him in after all. So I decided to untie him and let him go. I crawled my way back on my own and left him to his own path. Additionally, I am confident that I made the right decision, becauseAdditionally, I am confident that I made the right decision, because people are ment to be able to get a seccond chance. I also think it was right because we had alot of past memories together and it was not ment to be for me to let him go.

"SPA Movie & Games Day Paragraph."

Last Friday, the students of San Pasqual Academy had a fun movie and sports day. The Freshmens were combined with the Sophmores and watched the movie "Freedom Writers." Its a great movie. After the movie we all headed to the gym were all students of San Pasqual Acadamy were at the gym. We first played a game of basket ball, Sophmores won that game. Then we played volly ball, Seniors won that game. After the games, we went up to the cafe and their was a cupcake eating contest. I only watched at on table and Jabriel won. Their was more winners at other tables though. We then had lunch and went home. It was a fun Friday.!:)

"The Sniper" Fear

When facing heart-pounding fear, people perform well, because either they see some one they love or someone that believes in them. For example I have over came my fears by believing in myself and by having others believe in me. Belief in what your doing and impotance of it. Knowing the consequences of not doing it, is worse than doing it.  An example is aphobia of needles. If a person needs medication to save their life, they will take the shot, rather than die. I still have fear for clowns and creepy dolls like chucky and porcelain dolls, I need to over come it with logic, understanding that they can not really hurt me. I still im scared of them but those are ways to over come my fears. All these people including myself over come fears by support, belief, logic, impotance of doing it or the consequences of not doing it.

Halloween Memory

My Halloween Memory was last year. I was a nurse for Halloween & was at my Tias Halloween party. I won the sexiest teenage costume & my cousin won the cutest. We had a DJ, he was a family friend & knew how to bump!!:) We were having a good time dancing, playing games, & just having fun. Their was also alcohol & some what drugs. We had allot of people & every thing was going out fine till a family friend got really drunk & tried to hit on a family members girlfriend. When my Tios girlfriend yelled out "No" my Tio rushed the guy & everything went into a big scene. When they saw them all my Tios, Primos & Homiies jumped in and almost killed the guy. He was kicked out the party. When he left the DJ equipment was almost messed up, it was thrown on the ground & some furniture got messed up. We then had a good time. So 2k09’s Halloween was good, bad, and then good again:)!

“The Necklace” – The Husband’s Point of View

I was delighted to be invited to the dance. I then showed my wife and decided to invite her to come right with me. When she mentioned that she didn’t want to go because of the clothes and the way she looked poor because she didn’t have any jewelry. I was stunned. I had set aside just the amount of francs to buy a rifle so that i could go join some of my friends and shoot larks on the plain near Nanterre. Then I thought and said to my wife "All right I’ll give you four hundred francs. But try to get a nice dress." The dance became to be great and my wife looked stunningly beautiful. We were on our way back home, when we got home my wife had then just noticed that she had lost her friends necklace. I then started to think about where it can be and tried to give her ideas of where the necklace might had dropped. When my wife was to replace it I was to help her get ways to pay all her depts. After my wife bought a new one and replaced it with the other one I helped her pay her deeds that she had borrowed. When everything was finally paid off I was relieved and happy for everything to be back to normal.

“The Necklace” - The Grass is Not Always Greener.

The time I noticed that the grass was not that greener on the other side was when I was living with my Tia Cely and I would share a room with my cousin Sabrina. She was pretty much a follower and still is, so she would get anything her friends would get. One day we went to the mall. Her mom would get her anything she would want, but wouldn't get me anything when she had money that she would get paid for having me. I was just watching them shop for my cousin, I got mad and went on my own and stole an eyeliner pencil. I was all good, We left the mall and I thought I was slick. I told my tia and cousin that  I found it on my way out. My tia asked to see it and noticed that I had jacked it because it looked brand new. She asked me if I had stolen it and I lied, but I was about eleven so I did not really know how to lie. When we got home, my tia asked me again and I had to admitt it so she smacked my hands and was grounded for a month. She  took the eyeliner for herself. When I went to my room my cousin showed me that she had stolen somthing too, but didn't get caught for it. Then I realized that I was being a follower just like my cousin and got punished for it.

~Feud!~

Feud is in the title of the game family feud because fued means "fighting between families or other related groups that lasts for a long time". Family feud is a game between family members. The object of the game is "where you try and give the top answers to a question. For example Name things associated with a wedding (flowers, dress, ring, etc...) The top answer would score the most points and so on. The player that has the most points at the end of the games wins." This game is a good way to get to know new things or old about your family members. It also can make family members get along with each other better or not and make them get into an agrument. Feud is in the title of the game Family Fued because feud means part if what the object of the game is.

“My Memorable Days.”

1. When I was like nine, my brother,my lil sister & I got kicked out of my tia almas house. We were happy cause we were moving back with my grandma.
2. When I was living with my grandma, I was around eleven, I snuck out with my homiie Victor. I was struggling out of the window through a little whole, but I ended up coming out.
3. When I was eleven, me & my little sister Gizelle got in a fight. We got in a fight about who was a bigger snitch. I called her a snitch then she got mad and threw a pomengranate at my eye and i got a black eye and the juice of the friut made it look like I was bleeding.
4. When I was eleven, my  big brother Isaac found out I had a boyfriend. He kept asking me to tell him who it is, but i wouldnt tell him so then we started to fist fight.
5. When I was twelve, my brother & I got kicked out if my grandma's house.
6. When I was twelve, I was living with my tia Celi. My cousin Sabrina and I got in a fight.
7. When I was thirteen, I got kicked out of my tia's house & went to a foster home for the first time & it ended up me living with my home girl.

Dear Ms. Luella Bates Washington Jones,

I just wanted to write you a letter saying "Thank You M'am." My life now, after that experience with us and your pocket book I’ve changed my ways and am doing very well now. I’m glad I met you, because you have taught me a very important lesson in life that I would of probably would have never learned if I hadn’t met you. Now I know that “shoes got by devilish ways will burn your feet,” In other words I looked up that It means that "achievements or possessions gotten fraudulently have a way of turning around and biting you in the a$$..." My life now is great. I’ve been staying out of trouble and im getting things the right way. Thanks for the lesson Ms. Luella Bates Washington Jones.:D

The adult on campus that I picked was Laura. Laura is my house staff, it is like if she were my house parent. Laura is very funny! She has a great scene of humor and sometimes acts like a little kid.:) Laura can be really funny but when it come to things that have to be done and done right away she is really strict and is someone to go to when you need help to get something done. Laura also loves to party. Laura is a very understanding person, she will always want to talk to you if you need to talk to her about something. Laura is a fun and trust worthy person.

It was late at night when I saw an old lady turning a corner with a pocket purse her hand. I just thought that it would be easy to grab and I would have money for the one thing I want. So I ran past her and grabbed the purse. Then all of a sudden I felt myself in being grabbed by a strong person and it was her, Mrs. Luella Bates Washington Jones.  I was very nervous and scared at the same time that I was answering every question fast. I was so scared and confused when she took me to her house. I was only trying to get some money to get myself some new blue suede shoes, but I didn’t tell her until she asked me why I did it. When Mrs. Luella Bates Washington Jones told me I could have just asked I was confused. When she was telling me to wash up, if I was hungry, and if I had a place to be taken care of, I was confused because she wanted to help me after what I just did or tried to do. I felt loved as if she was my mom.  Mrs. Luella Bates Washington Jones fed me, cleaned me up, gave me desert, and even gave me ten dollars for my “Blue Suede Shoes.”

"A Bird In The Orange Grove!"

Their once was a bird named "Birdy" he was in the Orange Groves minding his own buisness in his house on a tree.He kept hearing wierd growling noises and big "BOOMS!" Birdy was getting scared so he went for a fly and was hopeing that when he would come back home it would all be gone. So he goes for a fly and decides to go to a friends house. When he was on his way to his friends house he thought somthing looked different. As he was flying he saw a bunch of his friends in a big bunch. Some were cring and some were arguing,so he goes to find out what happend.They told him that they were upset because their houses were geting chopped down. Birdy got upset and got heated so he went to the birdbath to think. After he was done he thought about a plan to beable to stick together and live happy,so they all decided to just move in a great big tree  in the fields where they plant food.Birdy was thinking fast and  wanted to beable to say good bye to his house before it was to late but when he got their it was to late. Every thing was literaly all gone.So he put his bad thoughts to the side, Kept his Head Up and kept moving on!:)

My Flashback!

When I was in the living room today, I was sitting next to a friend and the scent of his cologne caused me to have a flashback of a friend in National City. I remembered when we were driving around in my friend Ruben's car on Highland in National City. We were driving late at night because he had just bought his new, dark green low rider so he decided to pick up me and my homegirl, Angie. The windows were down and we were bumping the music and I remember the scent of his cologne. I remember the smell being good and manly.:) I realized that I really miss kicking it with him and being in National City. When I smelt that scent from my friend, I realized that I messed up in life by making the wrong choices and that if I hadn't made the wrong choice I would probably still be there kicking it in National City with all my homies.

Special Animal Paragraph!!:]

Animals CAN be a humans best friend in many similars ways. For example, at the age of ten I had a pet dog named Kisses. I did so many activities with Kisses and he was more than a dog, Kisses was my best friend. When I would come home to Kisses every day after school and I would always see him at the door waiting for me. When Kisses would see me walking up to him he would jump on me and kiss me. Kisses was a puppy Golden Retriver, he was very big for his age. Kisses was always there for me when I needed him, and I could always depend on him when I needed to, until someone stole him by breaking off the chain. We found out early in the morning,when I got up to say Good Morning.  I noticed he was gone so I pored out in tear because I didn't just lose a pet, my best friend was gone for good.

Stewie Griffin VS General Zaroff!!

My villian is Stewie Griffin. Stewie Griffin is very different than other babys and smarter.He is able to build weapons and can controll peoples minds by making types of electronics.Stewie is all about taking over the world and wanting things his way. General Zaroff on the other hand is likes to hunty and play games with other peoples minds.Stewie Griffin and General Zaroff are quite the same, they both like to try to controll peoples minds,they both sneaky and they both try to kill some one. On the other hand Stewie is also different because Zaroff actually goes all the way and kills someone and Stewies still tring. So between my villain Stewie Griffin and General Zaroff, General Zaroff is the most EVIL!

Fascinating Villain!

My Fascinating Villain is Stewie Griffin from Family Guy!:) Stewie Griffin is a one-year-old baby who is driven by his goal to take over the world. If it were not for his lack of strength,toilet traning and hisneed of parenting, Stewie would of already tooken over the world. Stewie Griffin, enjoys literature,and is also a brilliant genius level intellect who can design sophisicated technology.Stewie has the voice and manner of an evil person,but hes only recently celebrated his one year anniversity of his escape from nine months in his mothers, Lois,stomach. Another goal of stewies is to murder his mother,Lois. Stewie Griffin tries his most to find ways to kill Lois. Stewie also has sayings like; "Victory is mine!","What the duece?!","Why dont you burn in hell?!", "Damn you Vile women",and "I like you, so when the world is mine, your death will be fast and painless!"So "Stewie Griffin" is my "Fascinating Villain!":)

T.V. Show Plot! (CHOWDER!)

This episode of  "Chowder" is "Chowders Girl Friend." While shopping for ingredients, Mung Daal and Chowder encounter Ms. Endive, Mung 's personal rival and all-times nemesis, as well as her young apprentice, Panini. However,when Ms. Endive tells Panini to take notes on Mung, Panini notices Chowder, she falls deeply in love with Chowder, much to his chagrin. To make matters worse,she has proclaimed them to be boyfriend and girlfriend, and wants to do things he dont like, as in holding hands and hanging out.Then Chowder freaks out and tells Stinky and Mung the whole story and asks Mung what he should do.So he goes to Panini to try to let her down gently but it goes all wrong. Now, Chowder still must find a way to break up with Panini, preferably without being to mean to her.

HUNTING?!

I've really never thought about going hunting. I dont think I would ever even want to go. I dont think Its fare to the animals to get shot up just cause they taste good or look nice.There should be a different way of geting to them, for example they could just wait for them to die on their own or something, I really dont know.I just know that Its wrong and that I would never go Hunting!

AN EMBARESSING MOMENT!

One embaressing moment was when i was hanging out with my boyfriend Jesus at his porch, when we decided to go inside cause it was geting cold. When we got in we had to stay in his room with the light off so that his mom wouldnt come in to check on him. So we were just talking and listening to music in the dark. Then out of no where it got really quiet and we both reached over to kiss and we bumped our heads really hard, we both started to laugh a little but, i wss embaressed.

My Weekend 8.6.10 - 8.8.10

During the weekend I wasn’t that busy. On Friday I hung out at the football field and played catch with Raymond Lomas while I was watching the football players practice. Then on Saturday I woke up early to be able to get dropped off at my mom’s house in down town. When I got off I went straight to my baby sister and dressed her up for my mom’s friend’s party that we were going to. After we were ready we went to go pick up my brother in National City and headed to the party when we got there there was barely any one they’re so we left to the store to buy things that were needed at the party and when we got back the house was full of family and friends. It was fun there was good food, drinks, and some games that I was able to play:), and there was some good cake! At the end we stayed for a little while just to help clean up, and then went home. On Sunday I stayed in the house most of the time because I was waiting for Jabreil so that I can do his eye brows but then he went off campus so I just stayed in. We were trying to go to the movies and the mall but one off the supervisors changed their mind so we didn’t go. Then we had to get out of the house because Aloh and Emily got into an argument about the past, the remote, who pays rent, and whose hair was longer... I was just watching, it was funny. Then Emily left and Aloh got sent away for a couple of days, then the rest of the night was normal.
